Barren Ground Caribou Hunt
Interior Alaska
This hunt is conducted in the shadows of mount McKinley just outside of Denali National Park in classic barren ground caribou country. This area has produced many large double shovel caribou through the years. Round out your Alaskan hunting experience by adding a caribou to your moose, grizzly or sheep hunt.
Our Caribou hunts are only available in combination hunts with other species and or on a trophy fee basis. Moose, grizzly bear, dall sheep and black bear are all available in the same season.

2024 Season Update:
Our Caribou hunting was excellent in 2024 and we took 4 good bull Caribou. Caribou in our hunting area remain in relatively low numbers so we do not do caribou only hunts, but add them to other hunts for multi species.
2023 – Caribou in our hunting area remain in relatively low numbers so we do not do caribou only hunts, but add them to other hunts for multi species. Being selective we took 3 nice bull caribou this year.
2022 – We were 100% on success and took one very nice caribou. We continue to be very selective in the bulls we harvest.
2021 – As I have done for the last 15 years, we were very selective with the caribou that we harvested. We took three very nice bulls and left many up and coming bulls in charge of the herds for the future.
2020 – We were 100% successful on caribou in taking four bulls. We still have a limited number of good caribou bulls so we only take four to six each season, mostly on a trophy fee basis.
